Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00a - 12:00p Location: Kinder Farm Park Details:
Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.
Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

The trips for 2018 are in place and we’d like to tell all about them. Plan to come for a complete presentation about area-wide day trips and overnight trips to Las Vegas & The Canyonlands (including the Grand Canyon) in May and to the Cape Cod & Martha’s Vineyard in September. Refreshments will be served and a raffle for $100 toward a 2018 day trip will be held. (No trip reservation will be taken this day!)

Are you concerned that your child might be experimenting with drugs or addicted to drugs? Do you want to be prepared to teach your younger children never to start using? Are you looking for help with treatment?
"Not My Child" is a special presentation to remove the stigma of heroin addiction and get help for families caught in the web of drugs. This presentation will include a panel of experts, question and answer from the audience and treatment providers ready to provide information and referral.
The conversation is appropriate for elementary school children.
