    • Father’s Day Canoe Time: 10:00a - 2:00p Location: Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary Details: Discover the abundant wildlife in the Patuxent River wetlands with Dad! We’ll paddle up some of the smaller branches of the river to look for beavers, birds and flowering wetland plants. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, a lunch, and shoes that can get wet. Fee: $20. Age 7 and older.     • Microchip Clinic Time: 12:00p - 3:00p Location: 411 Maxwell Frye Road Millersville, MD 21108 Details: Monthly microchip clinics are held the 3rd Thursday of each month for the public in conjunction with the rabies clinic. Times for services for microchip clinic are the same as rabies clinic times on the 3rd Thursday. Citizens with proof of rabies vaccination for their pet will be able to take advantage of this low cost service for $20.00 for the implantation (additional fees for registration also apply).
       
       
    • Rabies Clinic Time: 12:00p - 3:00p Location: 411 Maxwell Frye Road Millersville, MD 21108 Details:

      Due to the significant increase in positive rabies cases experienced in Anne Arundel County, Animal Control is doing its part to help protect all Anne Arundel County pets from the deadly rabies virus. 
       

      Low cost rabies vaccinations are available every Thursday (except holidays) for a period of 3 hours at Anne Arundel County Animal Control. For the period of July - September the rabies clinics will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. From October - June the clinic will be from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The veterinarian leaves promptly at the end time for the clinic. Depending on the length of the line, Animal Control may conclude the line at an appropriate time to ensure all individuals remaining in line receive the services.
       

      Due to health and safety concerns for animals and humans alike, the Rabies Clinic will be canceled on any day that the anticipated heat index is above 100 degrees or if other inclement weather that could jeopardize the safety of pets and humans. 
         
      Be sure to bring a bowl and water for your animals to drink while you wait in line!
