    • Rabies Clinic Time: 12:00p - 3:00p Location: 411 Maxwell Frye Road Millersville, MD 21108 Details:

      Due to the significant increase in positive rabies cases experienced in Anne Arundel County, Animal Control is doing its part to help protect all Anne Arundel County pets from the deadly rabies virus. 
       

      Low cost rabies vaccinations are available every Thursday (except holidays) for a period of 3 hours at Anne Arundel County Animal Control. For the period of July - September the rabies clinics will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. From October - June the clinic will be from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The veterinarian leaves promptly at the end time for the clinic. Depending on the length of the line, Animal Control may conclude the line at an appropriate time to ensure all individuals remaining in line receive the services.
       

      Due to health and safety concerns for animals and humans alike, the Rabies Clinic will be canceled on any day that the anticipated heat index is above 100 degrees or if other inclement weather that could jeopardize the safety of pets and humans. 
         
      Be sure to bring a bowl and water for your animals to drink while you wait in line!

We’ll highlight our Summer Fun Centers, Day Camps, Adaptive Camps, Specialty Camps, Dance, Adult programs and much, much more. This is a “one stop shop” experience for families where you can register for our summer programs* four days early. Online registration opens on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

      Details: This is a history museum located on the grounds of the 17 acre Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park in Church Creek, Maryland. The National Park Service and Maryland Park Service re-opened the visitor center on March 10, 2017. Join a Park Service Ranger for a virtual tour of the Visitor Center.     • Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00a - 12:00p Location: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

O'Malley Senior Center 1275 Odenton Road Odenton, MD 21113 (410) 222-6227 Details: As you may or may not know, there is a fast growing project (or hobby) to spread kindness throughout the world, that project is known as this “The Painted Rock Project”. The idea is to paint rocks, with positive pictures and phrases and then to leave them at random places where people may walk and find them. This may bring a smile to their faces and a joy to their heart. It’s a small act of kindness to brighten someone’s day. They may decide to keep the rock or re-hide it to spread the joy even further.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

      Due to the significant increase in positive rabies cases experienced in Anne Arundel County, Animal Control is doing its part to help protect all Anne Arundel County pets from the deadly rabies virus. 
       

      Low cost rabies vaccinations are available every Thursday (except holidays) for a period of 3 hours at Anne Arundel County Animal Control. For the period of July - September the rabies clinics will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. From October - June the clinic will be from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The veterinarian leaves promptly at the end time for the clinic. Depending on the length of the line, Animal Control may conclude the line at an appropriate time to ensure all individuals remaining in line receive the services.
       

      Due to health and safety concerns for animals and humans alike, the Rabies Clinic will be canceled on any day that the anticipated heat index is above 100 degrees or if other inclement weather that could jeopardize the safety of pets and humans.

      The Ethics Commission is regularly scheduled to meet on the second Monday of each month, beginning at 4:00 p.m., in the commission’s office, unless rescheduled by the commission.  The commission will also have a contingent meeting scheduled for the third Monday of each month. The open portion of the meeting is usually quite brief, about 5-15 minutes.  Visitors are welcome to attend the open portion of the meeting.  If a person would like to bring a matter to the commission's attention or otherwise be heard during either the open or closed portion of the meeting, that person must notify the commission at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, providing that person's name and contact information.       Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

      Due to the significant increase in positive rabies cases experienced in Anne Arundel County, Animal Control is doing its part to help protect all Anne Arundel County pets from the deadly rabies virus. 
       

      Low cost rabies vaccinations are available every Thursday (except holidays) for a period of 3 hours at Anne Arundel County Animal Control. For the period of July - September the rabies clinics will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. From October - June the clinic will be from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The veterinarian leaves promptly at the end time for the clinic. Depending on the length of the line, Animal Control may conclude the line at an appropriate time to ensure all individuals remaining in line receive the services.
       

      Due to health and safety concerns for animals and humans alike, the Rabies Clinic will be canceled on any day that the anticipated heat index is above 100 degrees or if other inclement weather that could jeopardize the safety of pets and humans.
