    *Check-in time is a least 30 minutes prior to the end of visting.*
     

    Inmates are permitted two visits per week with friends and family members on a non-contact basis. The visiting schedule is posted in all housing units and is available to the general public by calling (410) 222-7374.  Visits may be one hour in duration unless visitation activity is heavy and termination after 30 minutes may be necessary. Up to 2 visitors may visit at one time. All visitors are required to provide proof of age. Visitors must present picture ID and a current address, If a visitor does not have a picture ID, then s/he must present 2 forms of non-photo ID (for ex., pay stub, social security card, health insurance card, passport, military ID, credit card, birth certificate, etc.)  

    *ANY VISITOR UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THEIR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN WITH SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION.
     

    INDIVIDUALS WISHING TO VISIT THE SAME INMATE AT THE SAME TIME MUST CHECK IN AT THE SAME TIME...LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO JOIN A VISIT ALREADY IN PROGRESS.
     

    If you require a special accommodation for a disability, you must make the request when you arrive at the facility.

    Attire
     

    The Jennifer Road Detention Center is a place of business and public agency.  Therefore revealing, suggestive and/or provocative attire is prohibited.  Visitors shall be required to wear footwear and dress in an appropriate fashion.

    The following apparel will not be permitted for either male or female visitors:

                1.  See-through apparel

                2.  Shirts and blouses with plunging necklines

                3.  Pants and shorts with high-cut splits

                4.  Halter tops

                5.  Cropped shirts or jerseys

                6.  Mini skirts or dresses

                7.  No shorts above the mid-thigh line

                8.  Form fitting clothes, such as leotards, spandex and leggings

                9.  Clothes that expose a person’s midriff, side or back

               10. Tube tops/tank tops

     

    The above list is not all inclusive. If a member of the Anne Arundel County Detention Center’s Staff determines attire to be inappropriate, revealing, suggestive or provocative, you will be asked to leave and return appropriately attired.
