Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on schools and traffic conditions throughout the area, the development community was notified on March 13, 2020, that Anne Arundel County would not accept new traffic counts starting on March 16, 2020. This notification was formalized in Inspections and Permits Blue Notice IP-20-16 on September 28, 2020.
On September 22, 2021, the Office of Planning & Zoning issued Green Notice OPZ-21-06 with updated Traffic Count guidelines and supersedes Blue Notice IP-20-16.
