Summer Fun Centers (SFC) are filled with fun and excitement for boys and girls ENTERING grades 1-6. The fun at each location is planned around a variety of themes. Daily activities include sports, arts and crafts, action-packed indoor and outdoor games, special events and field trips.
- June 22 through August 5, 2016 (dates are subject to change)
- Monday - Friday
- 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Extended hours are available from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m.
Field trip fees are included in registration fee. Lunch period is supervised, but the children are required to provide their own food and drink. Refrigeration is not available. Bus transportation is not provided.
Food and Nutrition Program
In cooperation with Anne Arundel County Public Schools Food and Nutrition, we will be participating in the Summer Food Program at various locations including: Glendale ES and Cedar-Morris Hill Community Center Summer Fun Centers, North Arundel Aquatic Center, Marley Summer SACC program and Quiet Waters Day Camp. Locations and meals are subject to change.
Special Needs/ Medical Accommodations
If your child has an IEP or has been identified with a special needs plan please disclose at time of registration. If your child has a medical condition that requires medication or an emergency protocol during program hours please disclose at time of registration. If your child attends a Maryland public or private school, you will not need to provide immunization records. If your child does not attend a Maryland public or private school, please bring a copy of his/her immunization records to the first day of camp.
If your child will be taking any medication during camp hours, please have the Recreation & Parks medication form (available with the camp forms) completed by a physician. Bring the form and the medication (in the original packaging) to camp on the first day.
Prior to May 1, 2016, you may register your child for a Summer Fun Center with a $75 non-refundable deposit. If registering online, you will only be able to pay the deposit when registering. The balance of fees must be received no later than June 1, 2016. These fees may be paid at any time prior to this date by mailing in a check or money order or by making a payment online. If the balance of fees is not received by June 1, 2016, you may be notified that your child has been removed from the program. Any registrations received after May 1, 2016 must be accompanied by full payment.
All camps are licensed by the State of Maryland.
