2017 Draft Land Preservation, Parks & Recreation Plan
Anne Arundel County Government is in the process of developing the 2017 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan (LPPRP). The LPPRP acts as a countywide master plan for land preservation, recreational programming, park acquisition, and facility development. In January of 2017 the County conducted an on-line citizen survey to gather public input for future recreation facilities and the preservation of parkland and natural resources areas. The County received 2,144 responses to the survey.
Based on the survey responses and information that our consultant, ERM, Inc. gathered from commissions, advisory groups, athletic groups and County personnel, the County’s 2017 Draft Land Preservation Parks and Recreation Plan is available through this website at the link below:
Your comments are essential to the completion of this plan. Comments will be received through November 30, 2017. Thank you for participating in this process.
Thank you for your submission. All submissions will be reviewed and recorded, however, we will not be responding to each submission. Please note that the Department of Recreation and Parks will only review and record comments that are delivered through this website. If you chose to send comments to specific County Government officials or staff, we do not have a process in place to retrieve and record those comments. By using this website you can be certain that your comments are being reviewed and given full consideration before the Plan is finalized. Your comments will be included in the Appendix of the Plan, however, no names or personal data will be disclosed. Thank you for your participation.
