Donations Accepted

We appreciate the citizens of Anne Arundel County wanting to assist Anne Arundel County Animal Control in the care of the animals within our facility.   Since county residents often donate and inquire if there are specific needs, below is a list of items most useful for caring for animals at Animal Control.  Please limit donations to the items on the below list.  For large donations please call the shelter.  Please contact us if you have questions.
For Dogs
  • Food (unopened) - Canned Food & Dry Food
  • Honey
  • Vitamin C
  • 2 Quart and 3 Quart Metal Bowls
  • Cloth Training Collars (slip collars)
  • Leashes
  • Puppy Training Pads
  • Toys
  • Rawhides
  • Kong (Large or XL)
  • Kong Balls (Large)
  • Jolly Balls
  • Treats - Greenies
  • Kuranda Beds - Donate Now!
  • Grooming Scissors
  • Whelping Boxes (large and small) (please ask first to see if need still exists)

  • Other cat toys can be used however we prefer items that can be easily cleaned
  • Gently used or new cat carrier (for transporting adopted pets or foster animals safely home)
