The Water Access Commission provides advice to the County on how to increase public access to local waterways.

About the Commission

The Water Access Commission is made up of citizens committed to increasing public access to local waterways for fishing, swimming, boating, viewing and other activities. The Commission meets quarterly and includes representatives of County government.

NOTE: The Water Access Commission is a county-sanctioned official body not to be confused with the private Water Access Committee that predated it.
