To our Anne Arundel County Veterans
Welcome to your Anne Arundel County Veterans Affairs Commission website. The purpose of the Commission is to establish a forum for all Anne Arundel County veterans of military service; to maintain coordinated communication with County and local governments, businesses, and veterans of the County; and to provide assistance, guidance, and information to the business and academic communities of the County and various levels of government to ensure adequate consideration of veterans in employment, education, training and public programs.
Your Commission is pursuing additional "outside the box" efforts to ease transition from military to civilian life for our Veterans and their families, including Veteran-preference hiring with local County businesses, Veteran discounts on goods and services available from County businesses, and future "Town Hall" sessions that will provide intense focus sessions on specific Veteran benefits areas.
Your Commission members are all Veterans from major military organizations. We are Veterans serving Veterans.
