Located in the upper right of your screen is a "Quick Link" menu of programs provided by the Department of Aging. Some links serve older adults while others serve adults with disabilities. Many provide assistance to family members and caregivers.

Aging Services: A list of Programs provided by the Department of Aging and Disabilities. Some serve older adults and some serve also serve adults with disabilities. Many provide assistance to family members and caregivers.

Needing Care: A list of programs designed specifically to provide assistance, services and information to older persons who are frail or and may need more assistance and care.

Active Seniors: A list of programs designed specifically to provide services, activities and information to those who are active and independent.

Disabled Adults: To the left is a list of programs which to provide services, assistance and information for adults with disabilities.

Seniors Families: A list of programs which may be of particular benefit to caregivers and to family members of the older person needing care.

Volunteers: A list of programs which utilize volunteers. The Department of Aging and Disabilities is committed to providing meaningful volunteer assignments that will benefit the community and be rewarding to the volunteer.

Resources: The Department of Aging and Disabilities provides a number of programs for both older persons and persons with disabilities. In Anne Arundel County we are very fortunate that so many other resources exist to assist these population groups. This page contains a highly searchable list of other agencies, organizations, business and facilities that provide services and programs to assist older persons and persons with disabilities.
