From Glen Burnie continue north Ritchie Hwy (Rt 2) past the Beltway (I 695) underpass. Make a left onto Hammonds Ln. Make a right, look for the North County Recreation Center sign.

Crafty Kiddos
Come create crazy crafts at Crafty Kiddos! Each week, children will create 3-4 unique arts and crafts projects. Various projects will be completed, including paintings, collages and etchings.

Under 5 Club
Children 2 - 5 with an accompanying adult are invited to come play and socialize at our weekly playgroup.  Arts and crafts, snack and play equipment will be provided.  This class fills up very quickly, so register early!

Movie Mondays
Sit back and relax for an afternoon at the movies! Moviegoers should bring a drink in a spill proof container and a pillow or blanket to use for comfort. Pre registration is required. Features will be child friendly and age appropriate.

Rec and Tots Fall Session
In our preschool program, your children will learn while having fun!  Each class will be based upon a specific aspect of early learning.  Focuses will be ‘Music and Movement’, ‘Arts and Crafts’ and ‘Fun and Games’. Children must be at least 3 years old and potty trained at the beginning of class. Bring birth certificate to first class.  Fee includes a snack. Limited enrollment.

Sewing for the Beginner and Beyond
Beginners will start with sewing machine basics and get help with pattern and fabric choice, while returning students will select their own projects, bringing all of their supplies to the first class. Use our sewing machines, or bring yours from home!

Create Your Own Planter

Party Platters

Cantaloupe Gel Candle
In this 2 week class, we will paint a cantaloupe fruit bowl and make it into a wonderful gel candle.  When the candle has burned, the fruit bowl can be used for dips, ice cream, fruit or whatever you can think of!

Lets Recycle and Make Some Jewelry
Are you tired of throwing all those old newspapers and magazines in the recycle bin?  Are you ready for some ideas for all those household items that you have that you just don't know what to do with?   The magazines can be rolled into paper beads. The newspapers can be broken down and then rolled into round beads which will be painted and glazed to resemble clay beads.  Even washers and faucet strainers can be turned into treasures. So join us in our effort to recycle.

Ceramic Parties
Put the ART into your PARTY! Having a party and looking for something other than the typical cake and ice cream then host a ceramic party. The party will be able to spend one hour working on a ceramic piece and additional time to party! The party includes: an instructor and all ceramic materials that are needed.

Shower the Bride or Mom-to-be with Unique Gifts!
Having a wedding/baby shower and looking for something other than the typical food and refreshments? Then host a ceramic party! The adults will be able to spend two hours working on ceramic pieces they can take home. The party includes: an instructor and all ceramic materials that are needed.

Our multipurpose room can host a great children’s party for up to 20 children. We supply the room and you supply everything else. Register to reserve any Saturday between 9:00am and 8:30pm. Schedule the date and time with NCRC.
