Youth to Teen Dance Programs
 

Movement for Mommy & Me
Exercises, dance, games, and props will be used to help in the development of motor skills. Instructor: Crystal Foor

Little Dancers *
The children will be introduced to dance through creative movement.  As they engage their imaginations, they will develop balance, coordination and basic movement skills.

Pre-Ballet
Pre-ballet emphasizes simple barre work, rhythms, positions and steps.

Ballet
Ballet develops coordination, confidence and discipline.

Intermediate Ballet
Ballet class for students with 2 years of experience.

 
* Students who continue through the winter session have the option of participating in a recital in May 2008. There will be an additional fee for costumes. Note: Instructors may make suggestions after the first class regarding the appropriate class for the child based on his/her skill level.
 
 
Teen to Adult Dance Programs
 

Social Ballroom
Dance like the Stars!  Come Learn the Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, and Swing.

Swing
A fun, timeless dance that you’re sure to enjoy! 

Salsa
Come learn one of the hottest Latin dances.

Tango
Learn the intriguing and passionate tango.

Wedding Dancing
Get ready for your first dance as husband and wife OR learn ballroom basics that will make you the talk of the reception!

Belly Dancing for Beginners
This class concentrates on the basics of this ancient art form.  Movements such as hip and shoulder shimmies, hip and chest circles, snake arms, body isolations, etc. will be practiced.  No experience required. 

Belly Dancing for Beginners II
This class builds on what was taught in Beginners I.  Build strength and flexibility, improve your technique and learn new movements and routines.  Props will also be incorporated into the class.

May 9, 2008 – Instructor Crystal Foor’s Dance Classes at NCRC, SCRC, BHS, OMHS, OES
May 11, 2008 – Dance Classes at SCRC, AMS, SPMS, OMHS (except instructor Crystal Foor’s dance classes)
May 23, 2008 – NCRC Dance Classes (except instructor Crystal Foor’s dance classes)
