Babysitting Basics
Learn how to find babysitting jobs, how to recognize age appropriate behavior, how to handle safety issues and what activities to do with the children. This program is certified by the American
Safety and Health Institute. This course will also include First Aid information and CPR certification. A certificate of completion will be issued to all who successfully complete the course. Participants must provide their own snack and drink. Instructor: Sheri Price

Mad Science Camp
Red Hot Robots
Learn about the uses of robots in the world. Spend time playing with our super cool red-hot robots. Use your skills to build your very own working robot to take home to “live” with you.  Participants must provide their own lunch and drink. Science In Motion
Discover how things move with science. Take apart pellets to see what an owl cannot digest. View the world through a camera obscura that you make yourself. Join a team of camper engineers and build bridges, domes, cubes and pyramids. Assemble and control pulleys, levers, catapults and

Performance Camp

Fly Fishing Camp at Lake Waterford Park
Introduction to fly fishing summer camp. No equipment or experience needed. Learn the basic aspects of fly fishing will be covered, including: casting, aquatic insects, locating fish, flies, and equipment. The 12 acre pond holds bass, blue gill, trout, catfish, carp and shad. Camp runs July 25th to July 29th. Half day programs in morning or afternoon. Lake Waterford Park is located in Pasadena on the corner of Pasadena Road and Baltimore & Annapolis Blvd.

Summer Dance Camp

Chess
Spend a week playing and learning about chess from the Silver Knights chess coaches! Our coaches are highly rated professional chess instructors.  Campers are broken up into groups by skill level, so we accept anyone from total beginners up through experienced and highly rated tournament players.
Each camper receives a T-Shirt and a tournament style chess set. Activities include learning opening tactics, endgames, studying master games, playing games against fellow students and analyzing each student’s games.  Campers must provide their own lunch drink and snack.

Magic Performance
Focusing primarily on the Performance Art of Magic, students train in a variety of forms of magic: sleight of hand, mentalism, apparatus and coin, as well as learning the basics of what it means to be a magician. A variety of magical games, craft projects and activities accompany serious magic instruction. A culminating performance allows students to perform an effect they have mastered in a close-up setting for parent and friends. All supplies included. Magic Camp: Intermediate                                                                                                      Are you an experienced magician?  Are you looking to take your skills another step further?  Campers will engage in advanced sleight of hand and stage magic, expanding and enriching the basics of their knowledge.  This camp is for veterans who have previouly enrolled in another Mystery Academy Camp or course.  Other campers may be admitted by permission of the instructor or by successful audition.  All supplies included. Circus Arts (aka Junior Carnival)
This program is geared for younger children to have fun and experience a carnival atmosphere.  Learn to speak through a puppet, play carnival games, juggle handkerchiefs, paint your face to look like a tiger...and even learn a magic trick or two.  All supplies are included in the camp fee. Circus Arts (aka Carnival Camp)
Children will learn puppetry, magic, balloon sculpture, face painting, object painting, juggling, skit comedy and much more! They will learn and play carnival themed games and put on a performance
for parents demonstrating a variety of vaudevillian skills. All supplies are included in the camp fee. Campers must provide their own snacks, lunch and beverages. Staff to participant ratio: 1:10

Puppetry                                                                                                                                     Campers will be introduced to a wide array of puppets including bag puppets, shadow puppets, human puppets, marionettes, tribbles, sock puppets and impovisational puppets.  emphasis will be on comedy and script writing for the puppets.  Parents are encouraged to come on the last day of camp to see a performance by the children.  All supplies are included in the camp fee. North Arundel Aquatic Center Swim Camps

Register for one of our weeklong programs at the North Arundel Aquatic Center.  Activities included themed days, outside activities, games, crafts, swim lessons, use of the water park and snacks in the afternoons.  Participants must bring a lunch and drink, a swimsuit, towel, a change of clothes and athletic style shoes.

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, drop off begins at 7:45am.  No before or after care provided for these progams.   Ages 6-11, $190 - 1 Week

Guard Start
Participants will complete the American Red Cross Guard Start Program. Students will participate in a variety of water and boating safety techniques. Build a cardboard boat and see if it floats. Once complete, they can volunteer as Junior Guards at the North Arundel Aquatic Center assisting with swim lessons and special events at the facility. Program: 9:00-2:00pm, Extended Stay 2:00-4:00pm
Ages 11-14, $150 - 1 Week
Extended Stay $5.00 a day or $20.00 for the week, snack provided.

Aqua Sports Camp
Children will enjoy a fun, active summer camp that includes diving, swimming, trampoline, kickball, art and crafts. The camps are run by Mike Tober, former NCAA All American, two- time gold medalist, Maccabiah Games, USA National Dive Team Coach. Currently head diving coach at GW University.
