Ceramics

Ceramics for Kids
Children create finished pieces. This session we will do coil building, free sculpture building something without a mold) and bisque painting (child’s choice of a mold-formed figurine). We will work with glazes and acrylic paint. Enrollment limited to 10 participants.

Teen Ceramic Designs
Middle to high school aged teens create challenging ceramic pieces, including a hand built piece and their choice of a mold-formed figurine. Designs are great as gifts for family and friends or to keep and enjoy yourself.

Fast Track Kids: Astronomy
Children will enhance their spatial and abstract thinking as they explore space travel, the moon and planets. Students will participate in activities involving “virtual” trips through space to learn about the concept of gravity and weightlessness. We make learning FUN!

Kids N’ Motion
Children will gain valuable knowledge of the benefits of exercise and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This class will give your child a chance to be active and have fun with fitness activities and games in a non-competitive atmosphere.

Youth Basics of Golf
Topics include set-up (grip, aim, stance, balance, weight shift, swing, fundamentals and etiquette), short game (putting, chipping and pitching) and long game (woods, long and short irons). All participants must wear a collared shirt, no T-shirts or tank tops.

Tennis for Youth
Want to play tennis and improve your skills? This program offers bracket play in age categories, with three levels of play (depending on the number of registrants). The program is structured as 30 minutes of instruction and 60 minutes of playing time. Fee covers instruction and the cost of balls. Bring your own racquet. Instructors are certified from the Annapolis Area Tennis School.

Kindergym®

Come join World-renowned Kindergym® in your neighborhood. Our classes are for 2-3 year olds and 4-5 year olds. The students will develop their gross motor skills by learning floor gymnastics, tumbling and beginning acrobatics. They will work on balance, agility, increasing strength and developing
academic readiness skills. All this while having fun and listening to music. We utilize mats, balls, low balance beams, balloons and bean bags to enhance the program.

Martial Arts

Martial Arts for Children
Boys and girls of all skill levels can learn karate and ju jitsu. Black Belt instructor emphasizes fun and safety while instructing children in the art of selfdefense. Classes taught by the Karate Panthers.

Little Ninjas
Little Ninjas is a program that focuses on improving children’s basic motor and listening skills. The eight skills emphasized in our program are focus, teamwork, control, balance, memory, discipline, fitness and coordination. The Little Ninjas program will also prepare your child for our Children’s Martial Arts program.

Ice Skating Lessons at Glen Burnie Town Center

Outdoor ice skating at Glen Burnie Town Center, 103 Crain Hwy, corner of B&A Blvd. Free parking at garage. Lessons include skate rental. Open daily.
