How to Schedule a Special Event

The Anne Arundel County Trails system is popular for walk-a-thons and other similar fund-raising activities. A wide variety of groups and organizations use the trails for charitable purposes. Events may be scheduled by nonprofit organizations chartered for charitable or educational purposes. Requests to use a trail in the Anne Arundel County Trails system for a special event must be approved by the Trails Superintendent in advance.

All rules and regulations apply to the event and public access must not be limited by the activity. Any event that is political in nature or involves a demonstration of a political, religious or ethnic issue will not be permitted and events, which provide personal or corporate gain or commercial promotion, will not be allowed.

Please contact the Earleigh Heights Ranger Station at (410) 222-6244, Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. to reserve your event date. After you reserved your date, print the application form from the link below and mail or drop off the application to Earleigh Heights Ranger Station at 51 W. Earleigh Heights RD., Severna Park, MD 21146.
