Parking and Directions

The B&A Trail maintains four parking lots and also passes behind shopping centers and public parking areas were trail users might access the Trail.

Jonas Green Park and the South Lot (open 8:00 a.m. - dusk) at Boulters Way

From the Bay Bridge and points East: Take Rte 50 west to exit 27A and follow Rte 450 towards the Naval Academy. Go 1/10 of a mile and the South Lot is on the right. For Jonas Green continue on Rte 450 to the traffic light at the base of the Naval Academy Bridge, make a left then an immediate right into Jonas Green Park.

From Washington and points West: Take Rte 50 east to exit 27A and follow Rte 450 towards the Naval Academy. Go 1/10 of a mile and the South Lot is on the right. For Jonas Green continue on Rte 450 to the traffic light at the base of the Naval Academy Bridge, make a left then an immediate right into Jonas Green Park.

From Annapolis and points South: Take Solomons Island Road (Rte 2) north to Rte 50 east to exit 27A and follow Rte 450 towards the Naval Academy. Go 1/10 of a mile and the South Lot is on the right. For Jonas Green continue on Rte 450 to the traffic light at the base of the Naval Academy Bridge, make a left then an immediate right into Jonas Green Park.
 
From Baltimore and points North/ N.West: Take I -97 south to Rte 50 east, taking exit 27A, follow Rte 450 towards the Naval Academy. Go 1/10 of a mile and the South Lot is on the right. For Jonas Green continue on Rte 450 to the traffic light at the base of the Naval Academy Bridge, make a left then an immediate right into Jonas Green Park.

From Ritchie Highway (Rte 2): Take Ritchie Hwy south to Rte 50 east exit from that exit bear Right onto the Rte 450 exit making a left at the stop sign onto Rte 450. Go 1/10 of a mile and the South Lot is on the right. For Jonas Green continue on Rte 450 to the traffic light at the base of the Naval Academy Bridge, make a left then an immediate right into Jonas Green Park.

Earleigh Heights Ranger Station (Open 7:00 a.m. - dusk)

From the bay Bridge and points East:  Take Rte 50 west to exit 27B and follow Rte 2 (Ritchie Hwy) north for approximately 7 miles. At the intersection of Magothy Bridge Road (to the east) and Earleigh Heights Road (to the west) make a left onto Earleigh Heights Rd. The Range Station is about 300 yards down and on the left.
 
From Annapolis and points South: Take Solomons Island Road (Rte 2) north to Rte 50 east to Exit 27B and follow Rte 2 (Ritchie Hwy) north for approximately 7 miles. From Baltimore and points North/ N.West: Take I-695 to Rte 10 south. Rte 10 will merge with Rte 100, to stay on Rte 10 you must move to the right. Continue on Rte 10 until it terminates at Rte 2 Make a left onto Rte 2 south, go to the second light (Earleigh Heights Rd) and make a right. The Ranger Station is about 300 yards down on the left.

Glen Burnie Parking Lot

Locally:  This parking lot is located near the Glen Burnie Courthouse. Turning west onto Rte 648 from Rte 2 (Ritchie Hwy) you travel to the first light (Crain Hwy) and make a left, you then make the first right onto Central Avenue. The parking lot is on the right side of the street as is the Trail, which runs alongside it.

From the Bay Bridge and points East: Take Rte 50 west to exit 21, I- 97 north to exit 15 Rte 176 west (Dorsey Rd). Continue on Rte 176 a short distance to Rte 648 (B&A Blvd) and make a right. At the first light (Crain Hwy) make a right then make the first right onto Central Avenue. The parking lot is on the right side of the street as is the Trail, which runs alongside it.
