 Mission Statement

Quiet Waters Park Volunteer program is intended to foster the opportunity for volunteers to exercise their passion for public service while providing support to the overall mission of the Anne Arundel County Parks and Recreation.  In addition, the volunteer will be exposed to the park’s art and natural resources and have opportunities to experience the parks natural and physical assets.

Volunteers’ actions should reflect a high level of respect and compassion for the patrons who participate in park programs and for the plants and animals living in the park.  The volunteer program principles are based on free will, commitment, and unity, which are all foundations of volunteerism.
