Quiet Waters Dog Park and Dog Beach

Image: Line

Anne Arundel County’s first Dog Park located in Quiet Waters Park features two large fenced areas for dogs to run off-leash; one open space is designated for large dogs and one for small or elderly dogs. Owners must accompany their pets (maximum 2 dogs per person) and observe responsible behavior. The Dog Park closes one-half hour before park closing time.

View the guide to Anne Arundel County laws governing the use and responsibilities associated with the public visiting parks with their dogs.

Pet Rinsing Station
Pet rinsing station has been installed and has become very popular with both dogs and humans. Keep your dog on lead until you enter the fenced area or are on the dog beach.

Quiet Waters Dog Beach
Long before the dog park fences went up, Quiet Waters Park was home to the dog beach. While people are not allowed to swim in the waters off the South River Promenade, dogs are encouraged to jump in and splash around in the small stretch of beach beyond the promenade. While no fences delineate the area, a set of rules are posted at the start of the beach.
