ABOUT THE EVENT 
Kick off the Barkin' Bash with a fun race through Quiet Waters Park! Well behaved and socialized dogs
are welcome, but please be considerate of your fellow runners and keep your pet on a short leash near you. The Family Dog Walk is approximately one mile. For more information and rules for canine participation please see below.
  
The Bark ’N Dash is part of our Move More! race series designed to give Anne Arundel County residents and
visitors opportunities to Move More!  All proceeds from the race go to Recreation Deeds for Special Needs, a local non-profit organization dedicated to making recreational activities accessible to all Anne Arundel County residents.

RULES 
For the safety of all participants
  • ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES Refusal to comply with this rule will result in disqualification. Retractable leashes are not recommended and should be set at six feet if used.
     
  • Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations must be current on race day. Proof of current Rabies vaccine should be carried with you on race day and must be provided upon the request.
     
  • Your dog must be currently licensed.
 
 Keep it clean
 Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog – even if this must be attended to while on the race course. Disposable bags will be available at packet pick up.
 
 Additional Details
 We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove a dog from the course if it might prove hazardous to others or whose physical condition appears to be compromised before or during the event. - For safety reasons, baby joggers & bicycles are not allowed to run with the dogs - Aggressive and unruly dogs -or people - will be disqualified.
