| Cartop Boat Launch |
Nestled between the South River and Harness Creek, Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis offers a launching site off of Harness Creek. Situated in a protective area, the winds are generally mild. The launching site is ¼ mile from the “N” parking lot. Restrooms are located in the Visitor Center. There is a daily vehicle entry fee of $5.00 per car. The park is open 7:00 a.m. to dusk. The park is closed on Tuesdays. |

| About Quiet Waters Park |
| The park has a wide variety of family activities. Visitors can walk, jog, or bike on over six miles of paved trails winding through hardwood forests and past grassy fields, play at the multi-level children’s playground, enjoy the vistas of the South River Promenade and Scenic Overlook, observe the beautiful colors as the leaves begin to change, or picnic among 340 acres of beautiful park land. The park also has a dog park and a dog beach. The park’s Visitor Center includes formal gardens, art galleries and public restrooms. | Directions |
| From Annapolis, take US-50 west. Take Exit 22, Route 665 (Aris T. Allen Blvd). Stay on Route 665 until it ends and merges with Forest Drive. Follow Forest Drive for 2 miles. Turn right at the Exxon Station onto Hillsmere Drive (There is a sign in front of Exxon saying “Quiet Waters Park-Next Right”). The park entrance is 100 yards on the right-hand side. |
