There is plenty of parking at this site and a paved trail to the water’s edge on the Patuxent River. The main park is has a sports complex with fields and a children’s playground. Water access is approximately 400-yards along a paved path that leads to a steep slope right before the put-in area. The site becomes wooded once you get down to the put-in site.
Directions
From Annapolis, take Route 50 west to Route 424 (Davidsonville Road) towards Davidsonville. Turn right onto Governor Bridge Road. Turn left onto Patuxent River Road. The park is located on your right. Go to the back parking lot and park. The put-in site is about 400-yards from the parking lot.

The Patuxent River is 110 miles in length and stretches from Parrs Ridge in Carroll County to the river’s mouth at Drum Point on the Chesapeake Bay. Anne Arundel County and Prince George’s County have cooperated to provide the following cartop boat sites now known as the Patuxent Water Trail.
