The Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks is pleased to offer state licensed Summer School Age Child Care (SACC). The program will have consistent policies and procedures that are in compliance with the State Child Care regulations and follow the National School Age Care Alliance Standard’s for Quality School Age Care.

| Locations |
All locations will operate Monday through Friday from June 23, 2008 through August 8, 2008. All locations are closed on Friday, July 4, 2008. |

| A full day, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., will be offered at the following locations: |

| Program |
There will be a full complement of arts and crafts, sports, games, field trips, enrichment programs and special events. A healthy snack will be provided in the morning and afternoon. Children must provide their own lunch, but we will provide the drink. If your child has a physical or mental condition that would limit his or her participation in our program and you believe we can accommodate the needs of your child, please describe, on the registration form, any accommodations you are requesting on behalf of your child. |

| Eligibility |
Children completing kindergarten (6/08) through fifth grade will be eligible for participation in this program. Every child must have the State mandated forms completed and on file at the summer site prior to their first day of attending. No one will be permitted to attend without the information on file. Those currently attending the school year program need to verify that their files are complete and updated. New participants can download the Required Forms for Admission (see Quick Link box above) or call the Child Care office at (410) 222-7856 or (301) 261-8036 regarding the required forms. There is a minimum and maximum registration for each center and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. |

| Fee/ Registration |
The registration fee includes the morning and afternoon snack, lunch beverage, field trips, t-shirt (must be worn on field trip days) and all materials and supplies for the program.
If you need to cancel any of the weeks that your child is registered for please contact the SACC office at least two weeks in advance. This will allow us to accommodate children on the waiting list and to process your credit or refund.
Follow this link to register online or use the Summer Registration Form above. Online registration requires payment for all weeks registered for at time of registration OR complete the Summer Registration Form above and mail along with one week’s fee. Registrations will not be accepted unless accompanied by the fee for one or more weeks. The additional weeks must be paid at least two weeks prior to weekly starting date. See the Summer SACC fee schedule chart below. If payment is not received by the due date your child’s name will be removed from the roster.
