2015-2016 School Year registration is open
Please be aware that online registration does not complete the registration process. You will immediately receive an e-mail that your online registration was received. You must keep this for your records to verify the date of your registration. 
South County Recreation Center Pre-K
"The School Age Child Care Division will be assuming the responsibility of the Pre-K program located at the South County Recreation Center for the 2015-2016 school year. We are in the process of obtaining a license from the Maryland State Department of Education for this location. Once this is completed, more information will become available."
If your child is new to the program:
After completing the on-line registration, the next step is to download Forms for Admission. Your child’s enrollment will not be considered complete until all required forms and the fee has been received by School Age Child Care (SACC). Forms can be emailed to sacc@aacounty.org or faxed to (410-222-4478)
ABOUT SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE (SACC)
The state-licensed School Age Child Care (SACC) program provides a safe, supportive environment that promotes social interaction, community integration, physical development, and intellectual growth in accordance with the Maryland State Department of Education’s Office of Child Care and National After School Association Standards. School year activities include sports, arts and crafts, games, activity stations, homework time, enrichments that support STEAM programming (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math), community service projects, and special events. programs will provide a safe, supportive environment that promotes social interaction, community interaction and encourages a postive self-image for all participants. 
In order to assist us in meeting your child’s needs it is important that you complete the questions on the registration form. The responses that you provide will assist us in adequately preparing to meet your child’s needs. If your child has a physical or mental condition that would limit his or her participation in our program and you believe we can accommodate the needs of your child, please describe, on the registration form, any accommodations you are requesting on behalf of your child. Please allow for a minimum of two weeks for your accommodation request to be considered. Elementary Program
The before school program operates from 7:00 a.m. until the start of the school day, and the after school program operates from the end of the school day until 6:00p.m. every day that school is in session for students. 
Children must be five years old in order to be eligible for all SACC programs. Every child must have all of the State mandated forms completed and on file at the center prior to their first day. No one will be allowed to attend the program without this information.  SACC is a separate entity from the school therefore any documents (health inventory,custody, etc.) must also be submitted to SACC.Those children returning to the program will need to verify with the Center Director that their files are complete and up-to-date. There is a maximum capacity for each center
There is a $25 non-refundable first time registration fee. Please call (410) 222-7856 for additional information.
Middle School Teen Group Program
The after school program operates from end of school until 6:00 p.m. every day that school is in session for students.
This program is for children who are entering grades 6, 7, and 8. Every child must have all of the State mandated forms completed and on file at the center prior to their first day. No one will be allowed to attend the program without this information. MSTG is a separate entity from the school therefore any documents (health inventory, custody, etc.) must also be submitted to MSTG. Those children returning to the program will need to verify with the Center Director that their files are completed and up-to-date. Children who attended one of our elementary sites will be able to transfer their file to the middle school. There is a maximum capacity for each center.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and all children must be registered annually. The middle school programs are only held in the afternoon and part-time care is available on Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday. There is a $25 non-refundable first time registration fee.
