$8.50 - $14.50/hr, depending on qualifications and experience
Part time; AM and/or PM.
Appropriate college coursework or OCC training required

The Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks is pleased to be able to offer state licensed School-Age Child Care (SACC) programs in neighborhood schools throughout Anne Arundel County. The SACC programs provide a nurturing environment that promotes social interaction, community integration, physical development and intellectual growth in accordance with the State Child Care Regulations and the NSACA Standards for Quality School-Age Child Care.
Activities will include opportunities for individual and group participation, while providing a balance between self-selected and staff-directed activities. There will be a full component of arts & crafts, sports, and games. Social skills and self-esteem activities as well as other enrichment opportunities will also compliment the program. In addition, all outdoor facilities will be utilized to augment the regular programming.

Morning and/or afternoon hours are available with a maximum of 25 - 30 hours per week. Supplement your income while helping to shape the future of our youth.
- Minimum Age – 16 years
- Experience – experience working with school age children
- Additional Preservice Requirement - 9 clock hours in communication with staff, parents & the public and 3 clock hours in Aide Orientation training.
All staff are required to receive training in CPR/ First Aid.
