| | School Age Child Care (SACC) |  | | IMPORTANT NOTICE: | You must have an account set up to make your monthly online payments and to register for any future child care sessions. Click on the “Online Registration” link in the quick links box to set up your account. Be sure to use the same email address and phone number as on your child's registration. Enter the information exactly as it appears on the monthly Billing Statement. If unsure, contact the SACC office for assistance. | | | | OUT OF AREA REQUESTS | | If you are registering for School Age Child Care program at a school other than your child's home school, the school must approve the out of area request prior to registration for SACC. Contact the school office for the Out of Area Request form. | | | | EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS: | | If you do not want to receive notifications (monthly Parent Update, registration reminders, etc) to the email address you listed on your child's registration, please notify the SACC office. | | | | Program Philosophy | The School Age Child Care (SACC) program provides a nurturing environment that will promote social interaction, community integration, physical development and intellectual growth in accordance with the State Child Care Regulations and the NSACA Standards for Quality School-Age Care. Activities will include opportunities for individual and group participation, while providing a balance between self-directed and staff-directed activities. There will be a full component of arts and crafts, sports and games, social skills, self-esteem activities, as well as other enrichment opportunities will also compliment the program. In addition, all outdoor facilities will be utilized to augment the regular program. | | | | In order to assist us in meeting your child’s needs it is important that you complete the questions on the registration form. The responses that you provide will assist us in adequately preparing to meet your child’s needs. If your child has a physical or mental condition that would limit his or her participation in our program and you believe we can accommodate the needs of your child, please describe, on the registration form, any accommodations you are requesting on behalf of your child. Please allow for a minimum of two weeks for your accommodation request to be considered. | | | | | Elementary Program | | Children who are 5 years old by September 1st of the school year being registered for Kindergarten through Grade 5 will be eligible for participation in this program. Every child must have all of the State mandated forms completed and on file at the center prior to their first day. No one will be allowed to attend the program without this information. SACC is a separate entity from the school therefore any documents (health inventory, immunization, custody, etc.) must also be submitted to SACC. Those children returning to the program will need to verify with the Center Director that their files are completed and up-to-date. There is a maximum capacity for each center. | | | | Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and all children must register annually. | | | Monthly fee schedule (2009 - 2010 School Year) | | | There is a $25 non-refundable first time registration fee. | | | | Middle School Teen Group Program | This program is for children who are entering grades 6, 7, and 8. Every child must have all of the State mandated forms completed and on file at the center prior to their first day. No one will be allowed to attend the program without this information. MSTG is a separate entity from the school therefore any documents (health inventory, immunization, custody, etc.) must also be submitted to MSTG. Those children returning to the program will need to verify with the Center Director that their files are completed and up-to-date. Children who attended one of our elementary sites will be able to transfer their file to the middle school. There is a maximum capacity for each center. | | | Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and all children must be registered annually. The middle school programs are only held in the afternoon and part-time care is available on Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday.

Those sites with an afternoon program operate from the end of the school day until 6:00 p.m. All programs operate everyday that school is in session for students.
