The Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks announces the awarding of $20,000 in Teen Activity Grants to 12 organizations throughout the County.

The purpose of this grant money is to provide group activities for Anne Arundel County teenagers in a healthy, drug- and alcohol-free atmosphere, while involving the community organizations in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the activities. 

• Broadneck E.P. Church 5th Quarter. Grant of $2,000
• Broadneck HS PTSO. Grant of $1,500  
• Calvary Chapel Endowment Fund, Inc. Grant of $1,500       
• Chesapeake Bay Memories Charities, Inc. Grant of $750         
• Friends of Joe Cannon Stadium. Grant of $1,000      
• Gambrills Teen Club. Grant of $2,000          
• Anne Arundel County Handicapped Athletic Association, Inc. Grant of $2,000   
• Harbour School Teen Social Club. Grant of $1,500     
• Navy Junior ROTC at Annapolis HS. Grant of $1,750 
• Pioneers in Action, Inc. Grant of $2,000
• Southern HS Music Boosters. Grant of $2,000      
• Woodside Gardens Apts. Community Association. Grant of $2,000
