Theft From/Tampering With Autos - Glen Burnie

On July 30, 2014, at approximately 12:24 am, officers from the Northern District were dispatched to the area of Kent Road and Georgia Avenue in Glen Burnie for a report of suspicious subjects tampering with automobiles.

A citizen observed several suspects pulling on door handles of vehicles while walking along Kent Road.  As officers converged on the area, several juveniles were located at the corner of Kent Road and New Jersey Avenue.  Two of the juveniles had numerous items of property in their possession to include GPS devices, CD’s, DVD’s, jewelry, shoes and charging cords. Through the investigation, officers were able to determine that the items that the juveniles had in their possession did not belong to them.  After canvassing the area, officers were able to locate and identify the lawful owners of some of the items that the juveniles had in their possession.

The two male juveniles with the property were arrested, transported to Northern District, and charged and released from the station to their parents/guardians.  A total of three vehicles were broken into and had items removed from them.

Suspects: 16-year-old male from Glen Burnie, Md and a 15-year-old male from Brooklyn, Md
