Theft From Auto/Arrest - Limthicum
On June 18, 2014 at approximately 4:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of the 300 block of Double Eagle Drive Linthicum, Maryland, for a citizen report of two males who were rummaging through a vehicle.
The citizen gave a description of one of the suspects as wearing a pink or red striped shirt and shorts. An officer arrived in the area and while checking the area for the suspect he observed a white male wearing blue shorts and a pink stripped shirt and gray hooded jacket, walking near the intersection of Benton Ave and Sycamore Rd. The officers approached the suspect to speak with him. The suspect admitted to being inside of a vehicle and taking property. Officers located a black over the shoulder laptop case and a leather case, which was open, with a tabletop projector lying on the ground next to the case in an adjacent yard to where the suspect was stopped. The property was positively identified by its rightful owner.
The suspect, later identified as Travis Wayne Crowe, was arrested transported to Eastern District for processing. Crowe was charged with theft under $100.00 and theft under $1,000.00.
