First Degree Assault 
 

On May 20, 2014, at approximately 9:39 p.m., Eastern District Patrol Officers responded to the area of Hospital Drive and Elvaton Road in Glen Burnie for a reported hit and run accident with injuries.

 

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 39-year- old male victim who advised that he was walking in the area of Elvaton Road and Hiddenbrook Drive when he was approached by a vehicle.  An occupant of the vehicle asked the victim for money and the victim replied that he had none.  An occupant of the vehicle then exited the vehicle and cut the victim in the face causing a minor laceration.  The suspect got back into the vehicle and struck the victim with the vehicle. The suspect then fled the area in the vehicle. The victim was transported to Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries. Several police units checked the area for the suspect, but were unsuccessful

 

Suspect: Black male, 6’ 2” tall, black hair, brown eyes, and unknown clothing description

Suspect Vehicle:  Black Lexus 4 door (no further information)
