Citizen Strong Arm Robbery in Severn, Attempted Robbery in Glen Burnie

CITIZEN STRONG ARM ROBBERY                                                                         SEVERN

 

On May 21, 2014, at approximately 6:14 p.m., an officer from Western District responded to the 2600 block of Annapolis Road in Severn for a report of an assault that had occurred on May 21, 2014, at another location.  

 

After speaking to the 14-year-old male victim, it was determined that a strong armed robbery took place in the 100 block of Millstone Court in Severn on May 20, 2014, at approximately 7:30 p.m. The victim reported that he was walking with others on Millstone Court when he was approached by three masked suspects. One suspect accused the victim of harassing a relative of his recently. The victim did not know what the suspect was referring to during the confrontation.  At that time, the three suspects began to punch and kick the victim, concluding with one of the suspects removing the victim’s cell phone from his pants pocket. All three suspects then fled on foot. The victim received minor injuries and treatment was refused. The victim appeared to be targeted in this incident.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY  GLEN BURNIE

 

On May 21, 2014, at approximately 2:33 p.m., officers from the Eastern District responded to the area of Nolview Court and Phirne Road in Glen Burnie for a report of a citizen robbery.

 

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 17-year-old male victim, who indicated that he was walking in the area of Nolview Court and Phirne Road when he was approached by three unknown male suspects. One suspect requested money, but the victim indicated that he didn’t have any.  That same suspect pulled out a pocket knife, pushed the victim to the ground and then punched him on the right side of his face. All three suspects then fled on foot westbound on Phirne Road without obtaining any property from the victim. Multiple patrol units and K-9 responded to the area, but could not locate the suspects at this time.

 

Suspect #1: Black male, approximately 15-16 years old, 6’4” with a medium build, wearing a gray t-shirt.

Suspect #2: Black male, approximately 21 years, 5’6” hazel eyes and a skinny build, wearing a black jacket.

Suspect #3: Black male, approximately 18 years old, 5’10” with a skinny build, wearing tan shorts and a red shirt with "American Eagle" in white lettering on the front
