Burglary/Check Fraud Arrest - Severn/Hanover


On July 1, 2014, at approximately 2:18 p.m., officers investigated a burglary in the 1800 block of Alderney Court in Severn that took place on June 30, 2014. During that incident, a personal check was stolen from the victim. A suspect later attempted to pass the check at the Bank of America on Arundel Mills Boulevard in Hanover. That suspect was located and found to be in possession of heroin and cocaine paraphernalia. The suspect is a neighbor of the victim and has broken into the same house in the past.  The suspect was charged with Burglary, Theft, Uttering a false document, and Possession of CDS and CDS Paraphernalia.

Suspect:  Joseph William Walker, 23, of 1879 Alderney Court, Hanover Md
