Burglary Arrest - Glen Burnie


On July 8, 2014, at approximately 4:33 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to 400 block of Delmar Avenue SE in Glen Burnie in reference to a residential burglary.


Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 24-year-old male victim, who indicated that earlier in the day the suspect knocked on the back door of his residence. The suspect proceeded to speak to the victim about his plans for the day and asked if he was leaving. The victim acknowledged he was leaving his home shortly. Later the same day, the victim told officers he heard someone knock on his back door again. Moments later, he went to answer the door and observed the suspect holding a window open and trying to climb into a bedroom. The victim then saw the suspect run next door and enter that residence.


When officers arrived, they located the suspect inside that second residence. The suspect positively identified by the victim as the person who entered his residence. The suspect was arrested and transported to Northern District where he was charged with first degree burglary, third degree burglary and fourth degree burglary.
