Attempted Strong Arm Robbery - Laurel
On June 6, 2014, at approximately 10:04 p.m., officers from the Western District responded to the intersection of Rippling Way and Oak Run Road for a report of a robbery that just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, a 17 year old male. The victim stated he attended a house party in the area and had just left when he was approached by the suspects. One of the suspects demanded his wallet and cell phone. When the victim refused, he was punched in the face numerous times by the same suspect who demanded his property. The suspects fled on foot without the victim’s property. The victim was taken to Laurel Regional Hospital with facial injuries. A search of the area for the suspects was negative. District Detectives responded to continue the investigation.
Suspect 1: B/M, wearing dark shirt, 5-8, medium build (assaulted victim)
