On May 30, 2014 at approximately 12:32 p.m., officers responded to the La Quinta Inn located at 6323 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie MD, where an adult male reported that he had just been robbed in the parking lot.

The victim advised that the first suspect, who was armed with a silver handgun, approached the victim and demanded his property. The suspect took the victim’s cell phone and money. He then got into a metallic green Ford Expedition driven by a second suspect and fled north on Ritchie Hwy.

The victim followed the suspect vehicle, which turned right onto Church Street and entered Baltimore City. The first suspect then got out of the passenger side of the vehicle at Pennington/Spruce Ave and fled on foot. Several patrol units to include the Baltimore Police Department, K-9 and Aviation searched for the suspects with negative results.

The second suspect fled in the vehicle, which was later found in the area un-occupied. The vehicle was positively identified and towed to police headquarters for processing. The district detective unit responded to the location and is actively investigating the case.
