ROBBERY (CITIZEN)                                                                               BROOKLYN PARK


On February 5, 2013, at approximately 1:54 p.m., officers from Northern District responded to the area of Alley 43 and Church Street for a report of an armed robbery of a citizen that occurred over an hour earlier.


Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 38-year-old male victim, who reported that he was walking through the Alley 43 when two male suspects approached him. One suspect was armed with a knife and both suspects demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim complied and the suspects fled in the direction of Ritchie Highway. Numerous officers canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.


Suspect #1: White male in his early 20’s, 6’2”, 200 pounds, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans

Suspect #2: White male in his early 20’s, 5’10”, 220 pounds, wearing a black sweat shirt, black sweat pants and a black ski cap

On February 5, 2013, at approximately 6:35 p.m., members of the Eastern District’s Tactical Narcotics Team and Tactical Patrol Unit conducted an investigative traffic stop on a Chevrolet Tahoe at Old Crown Drive near Edwin Raynor Boulevard. 


During the course of the stop, detectives searched the vehicle and recovered over $1,200 worth of prescription medication and $690 in U.S. currency. The passenger of the vehicle, Thea Patricia Hildebrand, 38, of 353 View Point Way, Waynesboro Pennsylvania, was placed under arrest and charged with various drug-related offenses.

At approximately 7:57 a.m., a single vehicle struck a pole and overturned in the 300 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Severna Park. As a result of the crash, crews will be in the area for several hours working on the downed pole. Motorists should avoid the area if possible.

At this time, traffic is closed both directions at Route 648 (B&A Boulevard) and Hill Road. Northbound traffic is being re-routed at Lower Magothy Beach Road and southbound traffic is being re-routed at Leelyn Drive.
