ARMED ROBBERY (CITIZEN) LAUREL
On May 8, 2013, at approximately 3:20 p.m., officers from the Western District responded to the 200 block of Easton South in Laurel for a report of a citizen robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 33-year-old female victim, who indicated that she was pushing a shopping cart on Easton South when she was approached by a male subject who engaged her in casual conversation. The suspect then pulled out a knife and pointed it at the victim. The suspect demanded her purse, forcibly removed it off her arm and fled the area. The victim was not injured in the incident. Several officers canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

CDS ARREST SEVERN
On May 8, 2013, at approximately 9:57 a.m., members of the Western District’s Tactical Narcotics Team and Tactical Patrol Unit conducted a traffic stop on a subject leaving 8212 Marlton Court in Severn, Maryland.
Detectives had a search and seizure warrant listed for the location and the subject of that warrant was seen leaving. Once the vehicle was stopped, detectives identified the driver as the subject listed in the search warrant. At that time, the subject was detained and detectives located approximately .6 grams of suspected heroin with an estimated street value of $72, approximately 13.6 grams of suspected crack cocaine with an estimated street value of $1,224 and 2.9 grams of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of $58. $576 in U.S. currency was seized along with the vehicle.
Detectives then went to the 8212 Marlton Court to execute the search warrant on the residence. Upon searching the residence, detectives found a digital scale and baggies in the bedroom of the suspect. One suspect arrested and charged accordingly.
Suspect: Detiko Rodney Dillard, 26, of 8212 Marlton Ct, Severn, Md
Charges: Possession of CDS Not Marijuana (Crack Cocaine), Possession of CDS W/Intent To Distribute (Crack Cocaine), Possession of CDS (Marijuana), Possession of CDS Not Marijuana (Heroin)
