The Anne Arundel County Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in bringing closure to a 2008 Brooklyn Park homicide. The family of the victim, Rudolph Turner, continues to plea for answers to solve this crime. Anyone with information on this murder is urged to contact Detective John Gajda at 410-222-3460 or contact Metro Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous by calling 1-866-7-LOCKUP, text messaging "MCS" plus your message to CRIMES (274637) or by visiting the website at www.metrocrimestoppers.net. If your tip leads to the arrest and conviction in this case, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Personnel from the Anne Arundel County Police and Fire Department along with representatives from County Executive John R. Leopold's office retrieved remnants from ground Zero in New York. The two steel beam artifacts were brought to Anne Arundel County, where the County Executive greeted their arrival at a 9/11 Memorial Dedication Ceremony.
