Department: Recreation and Parks Rate: $10.00/hr Duties consist of assisting with management and administration of School Age Child Care Program. Insure the health safety and welfare of the children; assist with planning and implementing appropriate daily activities. (Minimum Age: 19 years. Training: a total of 90 clock hours (or 6 credit hours) in the following: 45 clock hours child development, 45 clock hours of school-age curriculum. Additional Pre-Service Requirements: 9 clock hours in communication with staff, parents & the public. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: 400 hours under supervision primarily with school age children or 1 year of college or a combination of College + Experience = 1 year).
