Department: Recreation and Parks Rate: $13.00 - $14.00/hr Duties include the management and administration of a School Age Child Care program. Insure the health, safety, and welfare of the children; plan and implement appropriate daily activities. (Minimum Age: 21 years. Training: a total of 135 clock hours (or 9 credit hours) in the following: 45 clock hours child development, 45 clock hours of school-age curriculum, and 45 clock hours of child care administration. Additional Pre-Service Requirements: 9 clock hours in communication with staff, parents & the public, and 3 clock hours in OCC regulations. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: 400 hours under supervision primarily with school age children or 1 year as a registered Family Day Care Provider (school age).
