| | | | Department: GIS Intern, Department of Public Works, Highways Division | | | Duties: Candidate will be responsible for assisting with the County’s Road Inventory, Pavement Management and other Asset Management systems through the use of existing applications, GIS and database management systems. General skills with using databases, GIS, spreadsheets and as well as programming will be required. Candidates with more advanced skills using GIS, databases and programming will have an opportunity to utilize their capabilities in advancing our processes and systems to a new level. | | | Qualifications: Good organizational skills, database management (MS Access, Oracle, etc.), spreadsheets (MS Excel), Visual Basic, HTML, Web-development.
