Supervises on-site serving of meals for congregate participants.
Trains, guides and assists as needed with other staff and volunteer(s) for serving of meals.
Orders food and supplies for multiple sites and maintains appropriate inventory controls.
Monitors all food and equipment temperatures logs.
Reviews and corrects prepared paperwork before submission to the Nutrition Operations Manager.
Accurately enters data into the AIM database system.
Supports and promotes recreational, educational and social programs coordinated by Nutrition Activities Coordinator.
Coordinates activities under the direction of the Nutrition Educator, with community groups for outreach, referral and other supportive services.
Maintains pleasant environment for seniors at the sites.
Attends meetings as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum high school diploma. Food service supervisory experience preferred.
Good planning and organization skills.
Current ServSafe Certification is required or must be able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
Must have proficient computer skills.
A valid non-commercial class C motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
Must have reliable working transportation.
Lifting 25 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 10 pounds.
Occasional bending, reaching, kneeling.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
