Organizational Relationship:  Reports to Lead Nutrition Site Manager

Salary: $10.83-14.71
Part time-20 hours, contractual, no benefits

Primary Responsibilities:  Assists Lead in for day-to-day operations of at least 4 nutrition sites as follows:

1. Supervises on-site meal service for congregate participants.  Guides and assists as needed with nutrition site aide and volunteer(s).
2. Assures that all Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities’ policies and procedures are followed in daily operations:
3. 1. Food handling/sanitation
   2. Project income collection/recording/securing/deposits
   3. Personnel matters
   4. Reporting and documentation
   5. Client files
   6. Emergency procedures
   7. In-kind service documentation
   8. Social, recreational and educational activities
4. Recruits and trains staff and volunteers.
5. Supports and promotes recreational, educational and social programs coordinated by Nutrition Activity Coordinator.
6. Manages activities under the direction of the Director of Nutrition, Activity Coordinator and/or Nutrition Site Manager Coordinator for outreach, referral and other supportive services in the community.
7. Assists in ordering of food and supplies for multiple sites and maintaining inventory controls of multiple sites.
8. Maintains pleasant environment for seniors at the sites.
9. Attends meetings as assigned.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Each multi-nutrition site manager must have a high school diploma or (GED).  Must possess a current ServSafe certificate and CPR card or obtain one within 90 days of hire date. This work requires relevant experience working in food service management, with senior citizens and volunteers. Supervisory experience is necessary. Computer skills are desirable for data management and MS Office skills a plus. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is essential.
