NOTES:

These pay schedules apply to all employees covered by the AFSCME Local 2563 collective bargaining agreement.

FY2011 pay schedule reflects no change from the FY2010 schedule.  No across-the-board or annual merit increases for employees are funded in FY2011.

Longevity Pay for employees will be as follows and is applied to base rate exclusive of any longevity pay:

  • At completion of 7 years of continuous service employee is entitled to a 5% increase above current base pay
  • At completion of 11 years of continuous service employee is entitled to an additional 5% for a total of 10%
    above current base pay,
  • At completion of 16 years of continuous service employee is entitled to an additional 5% for a total of 15%
    above current base pay.

25 Year Pay Increase:  an employee who had obtained longevity pay at the 15% rate prior to July 1, 1996 and completed 25 years of service OR had completed 25 years of service prior to July 1, 2004, shall continue to receive a 2.5% increase for a total increase of 17.5% above current pay rate; employees who do not meet the aforementioned criteria are not eligible for this additional 2.5% award.

Annual rate is determined by multiplying hourly pay rate by 2080 hours, rounded to 2 decimal places.
