Nominees should have proven track record for improving quality of life
Annapolis, Maryland (June 13, 2013) — Anne Arundel County Executive Laura Neuman is seeking nominations for the 2013 Dallas G. Pace Humanitarian Award.
“We are fortunate to have neighbors in our community who are dedicated and committed to helping others,” said County Executive Neuman.  “The Dallas Pace Humanitarian Award honors our fellow citizens who go above and beyond to give back to their communities in the same spirit as Mr. Pace himself dedicated his life’s work.”
Dallas Pace, who passed away in 1974, was the first Human Relations Commission Chairman for Anne Arundel County. His long list of accomplishments includes membership on the national board of the Red Cross, the Annapolis NAACP and the Anne Arundel County PTA.
Any citizen 21 or older who resides within the County during the calendar year 2013 is eligible. Nominations must be received on the official entry form by August 30, 2013.
The award recipient will be honored at the 33rd annual Dr. Martin Luther King breakfast in January 2014.
