County Executive Laura Neuman Directs County Flags Lowered in Honor of Lance Cpl. William Taylor Wild IV

Severna Park High School graduate killed in training exercise
Annapolis (March 28, 2013) - Anne Arundel County Executive Laura Neuman today directed all flags in the County lowered to half mast to honor Marine Lance Cpl. William Taylor Wild IV, who was killed during a training exercise in Nevada.
“We want to honor a young man who gave his life protecting our freedom,” County Executive Neuman said. “He and his family have been a source of pride for our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.”
Taylor graduated from Severna Park High School in 2010. His father, Cpl. William Wild III, is a veteran of the Anne Arundel County Police Department. 
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis, 333 Dubois Road, followed by a reception at the Whitehurst Community Clubhouse, 360 White Cedar Lane in Severna Park.
Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Arlington National Cemetery. County flags will remain at half staff until sunset on Tuesday.
