Office of Planning & Zoning to Hold Workshop for Race Road Relocation Planning Study
Annapolis, Maryland (October 25, 2013) — The Anne Arundel County
Office of Planning & Zoning (OPZ) today announced that the
Transportation Division will hold a public workshop to provide
information about a planning study they are conducting to look at
potential realignments between Race Road, Orchard Road and Jessup Road
(MD Route 175) in Jessup.
The workshop is scheduled for Monday, November 18, 2013 and will begin
at 6:00 p.m. continuing until all interested parties have had an
opportunity to discuss the project with the project team or 8:00 p.m.
The workshop will be held at the Jessup Improvement Association’s Hall
located at 2920 Jessup Road, on the northeast corner of Jessup Road and
The purpose of the workshop is to gather information from the public,
business and property owners and all other interested parties about
environmental resources, traffic conditions and other concerns regarding
Jessup Road (MD Route 175) between Wigley Avenue and Clark Road. This
workshop is the first of three to be held during the study.
