Anne Arundel County Seeks Members for HIV Commission

Annapolis, MD (September 27, 2012) - County Executive John R. Leopold is seeking applications for members of the Anne Arundel County HIV Commission, an advisory panel that seeks to promote and enhance the quality of life for persons living with HIV/AIDS.

The Commission was established in 2009 for the purpose of ensuring adequate resources, including education and training, diagnosis and treatment, and community support, to ensure or improve the quality of life for persons living with HIV/AIDS in Anne Arundel County.

The Commission meets quarterly at the Anne Arundel County Department of Health, Health Services Building, 3 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401 on the first Wednesday in March, June, September and December from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Expertise about HIV/AIDS is preferred but not required.
