Members Needed for Anne Arundel County Adult Guardianship Board
Annapolis, MD (April 4, 2012) - The Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services and the Department of Aging and Disabilities are seeking members to the Adult Public Guardianship Board.
The Board is a group of 11 individuals who have experience and interest in working with elderly and disabled citizens. Members are appointed by the County Executive for a term of three years. Members meet twice a year, approximately 4 hours at a time, to review the status of adult Wards under the Guardianship of the County. The Board then makes recommendations to the court regarding continuing or terminating public guardianship. We currently have immediate openings for a physician and a lay individual to serve on the Board.
