County Executive Leopold Signs Legislation to Make Pet Registration More Convenient
New fees offer discount for 3-year registration
Annapolis, MD (October 24, 2011) – County Executive John R. Leopold today signed legislation into law making it more convenient for citizens to register their pets.
Fines for having an unregistered pet start at $50.
Pet owners must show proof of rabies vaccination for each dog or cat owned when submitting a registration form. For more information, go to www.aacounty.org/animalcontrol or “like” Animal Control on Facebook.
